2005 Smart Fortwo Passion Cabriolet Convertible - $6500 in Edmonton, Alberta for sale

It's a great little convertible with a 6 speed semi-auto gear box or full auto (you can select which, depending on your level of driving enthusiasm or how full your hands are!) and insanely good mileage at 4.8L/100km city or 3.4L/100km highway. The car has been primarily highway driven and its Mercedes diesel engine has been properly maintained. It has CD Player, seat warmers, A/C, and power windows and side mirrors. And for skeptical taller people, I'm 6' 2.5" and fit the car surprisingly fine. It has 182200 km.

I'm helping my mom sell the car as she bought a newer Smart car last year, so this one had been sitting around for a bit. We put a new battery in to get it going and that was all it took, there was a bit of a putter and we had it looked at. For this we've replaced the EGR valve and solved the problem.

To put the fuel economy in perspective, if you and a friend split the costs of driving to California, taking Highway 1 from San Francisco to L.A. (after all, it is a convertible) and then returning to Edmonton, it'd cost less than $250 each, and that's based on 4L/100km with diesel costing a lofty $1.40/L.
