Unfortunately, the time has come for me to sell my car. We are moving on in our life and require a more family oriented vehicle, which sadly means giving up the Caliber.
This car is very fun! It has quite the punch for a 4-door, 4 cylinder. And don't take the 4-cylinder part lightly...I have no problem leaving V-6's and V'8's in the dust. :)
It's got a few mods over the years t make it a little more fun to drive...
- Straight back exhaust with rear-cat delete.
- Blue Plate blow off valve
- MS1 Tune (Mopar Stage 1), which allows it to peak at about 18 PSI and hold at about 15 PSI; as well as other performance overrides.
- Drilled and Slotted front rotors
- Aftermarket Projector/LED headlamps
- Completely black out tinted on the rear half of the car
- LED backup lights
All in all, this is a very fun car. I treat it incredibly well. Dealer specs suggest oil changes every 6-7000 km, but I do them every 5000 km. I also only ever fill it with premium Shell fuel, and have injectors cleaned every third oil change.
Full stock vehicle specs can be found online as well, but here are just a couple unique things that come stock on the car.
- Rear mounted steering wheel controls for audio
- Cruise control
- Remote locks and panic FOB
- The information panel on the dash shows 0-60 time, braking, G-Force, temperatures, fuel useage, timers, distance, etc.
- Traction control unlock.
- Split folding rear seats
- The dome light in the rear un-clips t become a flashlight
- AUX input for the stereo
- All speakers at 6x9, giving it a great sound
- Huge trunk space
- Boost gauge
- Functional hood scoops, not like the fake ones on most cars these days.
The list goes on...these are just a few things that make the car fun off of the lot.
