Do you need to rent a room near the University of Alberta? I have one available immediately.
It includes FREE phone, FREE internet, FREE cable t.v., FREE laundry (all you can use), FREE utilities (gas, electricity, water), FREE parking, big screen t.v. (32 inch), etc. I would only charge you $470/month which includes everything. No lease to sign. Month to month renting. Short term rentals are fine. It's a FULLY furnished house. You just need a suitcase.
The house is in a super convenient location. It is right on the corner of 109 st and 75 Ave. It is about a 10 minute walk to the supermarket, University of Alberta, Whyte Ave, Farmers market, bars, patios, restaurants, Fringe festival, Heritage festival, parades, Hawrelak Park (best park in Edmonton), Kinsmen sports center, river valley, etc. I am also right on a major bus route so you do not even need a car to live here. The bus stop is right outside my house. The 51 bus picks you up 30 feet from my property and drops you off right at the University terminal. You could even walk to the U of A though or take a nice bike ride. The 9 bus will take you downtown in a few minutes. It is also just a short walk to the LRT train station.
The room itself is big and comfortable. It has a queen bed, desk, shelves, etc. It is 12X13.
The people living here are:
Matt (me) - Business owner (recycling company). Works long hours. Interested in history. Likes to travel.
Mohammed - Algerian student at the U of A taking a masters degree. Friendly.
Hemit - Chinese Petroleum engineering student. He likes soccer, basketball, badminton and watching sports on television. Respectful and sociable.
Allen - 22 year old male from Korea. Quiet and always working on his computer.
Silver - 52 year old male. Funny, friendly and acts like a 22 year old.
