6 year old Jay Flight BHS 29, Good Shape - plus tow
6 year old Jay Flight BHS 29, Good Shape - plus tow
$18,000

(Also, Silverado 3500 tow vehicle - incentive to purchase both together.)

GVWR 7500 lbs. including 2300 lbs. for cargo.

Purchased from Western RV for about $30,000 - looking for $18,000. 18' awning. All the options except the external LP stove. It is wired for sound, tv, cable, and has speakers. It has the half size door for easy access under the bunk compartment (the bunk tilts up), and air conditioning. It's had the interior/exterior treatments for cloth and siding. The water heater uses either AC or propane, which we found very handy. Large refrigerator. Dual 20 lb. propane tanks. Microwave. 3 burner stove and oven. Lots of cupboard space and storage. Combined tub/shower. Pedestal flush toilet. Dual kitchen sink. Highest fluid capacities in this series: freshwater is 59 US gal, and blackwater/greywater are each 32.5 US gal. White.

Queen bed in forward bedroom. Single over double bunk in the rear. Convertible sofa in the slide.

I have added a second battery for extended stays with no utilities.

The sofa slides out just over one foot, but makes a world of difference in how much room you have - and you can still use it without sliding it out. It actually has enough room that you don't feel cooped up if you stay in during inclement weather.

2002 Chev Silverado 3500 4x4 One Ton Dually Crew Cab Long Box, Good Shape

Perfect tow vehicle.

Rare 8.1L gas engine. Mid-line model with most of the options - Very comfortable. Sprayed in box liner (Armorthane). 2'x2'x4' (approximate) lockable aluminum tool box in the bed. Heavy duty suspension. Heavy duty trailering options. Class V receiver (2.5" with sleeves for 2"). It has plumbing, pump and gauge for an auxiliary gas tank. Two-way long range remote start. Power almost everything. Forest Green.

Under 147,000 km at the time of posting. Only used synthetics for all fluids, on the standard service schedule. All major work has been kept up. I have never had to plug the vehicle in during winter - the block heater plug is still zip tied in the wheel well.

This is a real workhorse when you need it to be: I've driven the limit, full load in the bed and full trailer and load, uphill, passing other vehicles. However, I'm not usually hard on it - it's in good shape.

* $18,000 for the trailer, and have been offered close to $15,000 for the truck. Both together for $25,000
